Digital Transformation, Financial Inclusion, and Sustainable Growth in the Indonesian Economy
This inaugural issue of the Indonesian Journal of Economics and Business Studies (IJEBS) presents five original empirical studies that collectively illuminate the interconnected forces reshaping Indonesia's economic landscape. The articles examine, in turn, the provincial growth effects of digital economy transformation, the role of Islamic banking in advancing financial inclusion and regional development, the determinants of small and medium enterprise performance in East Java, the financial value implications of green economy practices among listed manufacturing companies, and the relationship between fintech adoption, financial literacy, and financial inclusion among Indonesian millennials. Spanning provincial panel econometrics, structural equation modelling, dynamic GMM estimation, and behavioural survey analysis, these contributions offer a rigorous, multi-method, and policy-relevant portrait of an economy navigating the simultaneous imperatives of digital transformation, financial deepening, entrepreneurial development, environmental sustainability, and inclusive growth.
